Back Again

Guys
Wow! After such a longtime I am posting something. It took me almost 2 years to get back, now at least I will try to continue blogging. I think first I should tell you how come I stopped suddenly after only two posts, well guy life just got too hectic for me to blog. Yeah busy busy...anyways I have been following a very interesting blogger for sometime and this gave me the idea of coming back.
Well, life has gone major changes after my last post, the most important change is that I have fallen in love. And for me that is such a big change as I never knew I would fall in love so soon. But hey love does not strick after evaluating about anyone plans for it and man I am thankful for that.
Anyways guys I will post something in detail about this but for now I just wanted to post something in my return.

My Views On Maldivian Politics

As a person I sometime feel did introduction of party system in our political system prove to be a sign of good fortune or the bad fortunes to come. But then if it was not for that system, we will always be ignorant of the injustice that happens among us. Although, some of Maldivian citizens think that it has only worsen the situation of our life. But is this correct. My answer is NO.

Think of the life we have lived before the introduction of this factor, it was pretty peaceful up to the point of our simple life. Despite of this, have we ever stopped and gave a simple thought to the people who has suffered brutally under our then so-called government. I am pretty much sure my fellow Maldivians think we had the freedom but I am sure then I would have been put away for life for writing these simple sentences against our government. Then the government had one rule and that was RICH STAYS RICH AND POOR STAY POOR. Our president, His excellency Mr. Maumoon Abdul Gayoom had governed or prehaps ruled this jewel of island for about three decades but I just wonder is the development we see today is 'Hard Work' of thirty years? I might be dump here or immature but come on I want to know IS THIS IT? And still some of my fellow Maldivians still want 5 more years added under his sheild-of-presidency. The development of 30 years have made us Maldivians scared of any change.

My dear fellow Maldivians, I am just a young man now but I want a change and the change i want is for all of us. I want equalness among all of us, I just wish we Maldivians make a better choice now and even if we make a bad choice, we just do not stay put but work to make right what we did wrong.

Vote For A Better Change For All Fellow Maldivians.

Action Speaks Louder Than Words With Hard Work

I would like to share my own experience on this saying by a great person. When I was in grade 5, I did not know the meaning of the word 'Fine'. I remembered the day i realized what a loser I was then; it was the day when my English teacher gave my class a task of writing a letter. The classmate near me was Junaid; when he wrote the sentence 'I hope you are fine', I was kind of lost for words. I asked him what was the meaning for that word and when he explained I realized how much I needed to study English from the start. But my friends this was not the boast that started my work to improve my English.

After completing grade 7 from Hithadhoo School, I was graduated to Pre 8 of Muhibbuddin School. Then I was taking tuition from my mentor, Mr Adil Jameel, and he was starting to have a great influence on my English standard due to his teaching technics. He was a believer in improving English by using a much more practical method of teaching. He had a rule about improving English by using three simple methods; Writing, Reading and Speaking. He practiced all three of these in his teaching. In his tuition class then known to us as Miracle Tuition Class had it's own ELA, English Literary Assosiation. Then the elected president for this club was Ms. Fathmath Yusra and she was excellent english speaker, one of the person I know who had the most beautiful accent in English. Anyways after promoted to grade 8, it came the time to select new president for ELA and as then I was active member in Miracle Tuition in every extra circular activity, I nominated for the position and my opposition was Fathmath Shanila, a wonderful friend and a great opposition. I will post another writing on this special election later. In the end I was selected to the position with 200 voted to 17 votes. My vice president was Ahmed Faris, my best friend and a great guy with excellent of English Grammar. This happened before the start of our first term in Grade 8. Grade 8 started and after the first term exam came the marks giving day and I got 38 points in English and Ammaty, Ahmed Faris, got 48 points. My mentor was furious and after our class he told us to wait and he gave one memorable lecture. Do you know how much Shanila got; it was 89 points. Think how furious he would be, he lectured me and ammaty on being how irresponsible we both were to disappoint him and all the 200 students who voted for us hoping that we will help them improve their English standard. I tell you friends that was one life-course changing lecture for both of us.

Inspired of this i started my work on improving my English and let me tell you it was not easy. I used a simple method and that was use simple three things; Writing, Speaking and Listening. I remembered my first book that i read; it was a Sweet Valley kids book. I know what you are all thinking but then it was my standard. Slowly I started getting better at the speed of finishing the books I read and the thickness of those books. In listening I always watch BBC and CNN to improve my standard of accent and pronunciation. In writing I was writing a page about something pageful daily.

It took me about 2 years of hard work to improve my English to the standard of getting a B+ in Cambridge O'level. Even I dreamt of being Muhibbuddin School president for ELA as Yusra was ELA president for then Southern Secondary School when I was in Pre 8. I achieved that goal when i was in Grade 11 and that also with 100% vote from the members of ELA. There were some setbacks too in this conquest, I embarrassed myself when I was in grade 8 after giving a not-too-good speech in school assembly and the list goes on. But my friends there were some unforgettable experiences too like I gave the best speech when I was in grade 9 and I was the first student to give speech without referring to a paper. The day principal was so happy and praised me in the assembly plus it took me half an hour to reach class after assembly was dispersed because teachers were shaking my hand and students were also praising me. Friends who were there that day would know. I remembered the biggest crowd to whom I gave my first speech, it was in congratulating party for the O'level students who gave Muhibbuddin School country's first place in O'level exam. I believe that day there were about 500+ students there. Wow still that experience gives me a pat on shoulder. So my friends this is how I achieved some of my dreams and goals. Trust in your inner self to dream and set goals and then work to your limit to achieve it. Sure thing you would end up a winner. Never say that you would do things but do things and say you have done it. There might be mistakes in this post because did not recheck; please excuse me because to every early in the morning.
